Grand Comoros unaffected by stormy weather
August 1, 2024
With more than 55 of the 130 homes in ‘The Grand Comoros’ estate having been sold, progress is not slowing down despite bad weather conditions having been experienced elsewhere in St Francis Bay.
Teams remained on site throughout the storms and internal work continued to ensure the buyers’ homes are delivered to them on time.
Speaking to the estate developers about heavy downpours experienced in other parts of St Francis Bays where homes were and several roads were flooded, feedback on site is that the estate has been unaffected by storm waters.
Owing to its well-prepared levels and an impressive stormwater drain system developed throughout the estate, the mass of storm water was handled with aplomb, exactly as developers had designed and planned.
There was huge excitement from everyone on the estate when they saw the awesome stormwater overflow pond on the estate, which doubles as the estate’s water feature, start to fill itself up. This amazing water feature, together with greenery being planted, is giving the estate a whole new face.
Speaking to some of the new homeowners on the estate, it is undoubtedly apparent that those who have already occupied their homes are ecstatic about their new surroundings. The sense of a community is growing, and one can feel the energy of the residents as they start to develop new friendships within the estate.
According to the developers, plans for the Comoros Clubhouse are under review and will be submitted to Council this month for approval. The clubhouse will be a big milestone in the development’s life cycle as it is effectively the heart of the development.
The developers commented: “An estate such like this, is all about lifestyle, friendships and socialising. The clubhouse plays a major role in bringing people together in an environment where they can relax and enjoy themselves.”
